Could I still lose weight if I eat dessert?

I cannot go a day without dessert after dinner. I'm talking ice cream and doughnuts for the most part. If I had 1500 calories a day where about 300-500 outta the 1500 is dessert, is it still possible to lose weight and burn fat? I don't eat diet desserts just so you know since they don't taste as good. Thanks.
