What do you guys think of this movie plot?

A war hardened soldier teams up with an alcoholic ex-CIA agent to investigate dirty cops on the take. In the process they sign a suicide pact with four British men on welfare. By the end of the movie they blow up 4 bad guys and end up winning the admiration of their department, living happily ever after.
