Why don't we have big American SUV's and Pick-ups here in the UK?

I was just wondering why we don't have big American SUV's and Pick-ups here in the UK?? They are amazing cars! but the brilliance seems to have left us behind!! Eg. The Americans have the huge Hummer H2 but we seem to have the Jeep Cherokee.... Doesn't come close! And why haven't Chevrolet Released a line of SUV's for the UK market..? Will someone please Explain???
