SHOULD I BE WORRIED IF MY EAR INFECTION IS EFFECTING MY SPEECH?

i was told i have a bad case of swimmers ear i have ear drops and pills(antibiotics) to treat it but it seems to be gettin worse and now i have a lisp im not sure what to do i have already been to the er but this has never happened to me before any advice would help thank you
