How do i yse photos??

Perhaps what your professor or instructor wants is something beyond a technical ysis of the photos? Writing about a fine art photograph is not unlike writing about any work of fine art whether that is sculpture or say painting. You can begin by talking about the technical aspects of the photo say for example the lighting in a studio portrait. You may begin by saying the light is diffused, yet high key, and softly but barely delineates the curves of the persons face. Again on a technical note you could say that the lens the photographer chose is somewhat soft perhaps because of the use of a diffusion filter, poor optics, or perhaps is slighly out of focus. Because color is an element of light you might want to talk about the color, is it saturated color, or the opposite? Where you decide to end your technical ysis is where you should begin your artistic ysis. I suggest you take a look at this website, and pay particular attention to the section about elements. A lot of the same elements that go into making a good painting hold true for a photograph a href="http://www.ccds.charlotte.nc.us/green/looking_and_writing_about_art.htm" rel="nofollow"http://www.ccds.charlotte.nc.us/green/lo…/a
