When is it safe to smoke or drink out of a straw after haveing a tooth pulled and a draining of a abcess?

Yesterday(July 13) I had a abcess drained and a tooth that was casuing it pulled. That was around 1130 AM yesterday. It is now 8:10 PM July 14. And I still have a little bit of swelling left in my right cheek and it kind of hurts when I open my mouth fully to take a full bite of something. How long dose it take for both of those things to heal and when will I be able to drink coke through a straw and smoke a cig? Thank you so much in advance.
