Stinging pain, outside of heel?

I have a stinging pain on the outside of both heels. The left foot hurts worse than the right. Both Achilles tendons hurt too. I walk and jog 5 days a week for 30 minutes. It is getting where I am going to have to ride a stationary bike if the pain worsens. Any idea what this could be? I don't think it is plantar faciaitis(sp?), however, might be wrong. The pain is not anywhere in the arch. Thanks, Rock
