What are the fees for JetBlue's Buddy P? Also, what are the odds that I wouldn't get on any flight?

Someone I know is trying to get me a buddy p for JetBlue to fly from NYC (any airport) to South Florida (any airport.. West Palm, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami). I just want to know what type of fee I would be paying. Right now tickets are around $600 roundtrip for Memorial Day weekend. Also, I wanted to know the odds that I wouldn't even get on a flight. Thanks!
