For people who have been to pacha nyc?

i bought a ticket to see benny beni & steve aoki at pacha and im only 18 and the event is for 19 and over so im borrowing my friends id who looks nothing like me besides the fact that we have the same color eyes and hair. i heard from a friend that upon enterance they scan your id to see if your over 19 and to make sure its not fake, but do they actually take the time to look at the picture on the id? will this work for me? what will happen if they know its not me? will i get arrested or will they feel bad for me and let me in anyway?
